Alcover Massage, located in the Village of the Arts, will host its annual Halloween community event on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 1302 12th Avenue West, Village of the Arts, Bradenton, FL. For the tenth year this family-friendly event coincides with the Village of the Arts Community Trick-or-Treat and combines allergen conscious candy with a book giveaway to promote literacy and community engagement.
As a designated Teal Pumpkin location, Alcover Massage will distribute 1,000 pieces of gluten-free and peanut-free candy and offer candy-free alternatives for children with dietary restrictions. Building on last year’s momentum when organizers distributed more than 400 books, the event will again provide free children’s books appropriate for ages 0–13.
“We believe Halloween is a wonderful opportunity for organizations to connect with local families and help parents learn about resources in their area,” said Laura Alcover, LMT owner and manager of Alcover Massage. “By adding book giveaways to the tradition of candy, we're celebrating the holiday while encouraging a love of reading for children.”
